With the third and final season of Love, Victor premiering on Disney+ and Hulu on June 15, there are some important things for fans to remember. Love, Victor the spin-off of the original movie: Love, Simon (2018), last ended with Victor in a tricky place, trying to pick between Benji and Rahim.

And while that's the big question fans were left with last year, all the other characters had some unanswered questions that are just waiting to be explored: Will Mia meet her mom? What is going on between Pilar and Felix? And are Isabel and Armando back together? Season 3 brings the show’s final wrap-up on their stories and there are even talks of potential continuations of the universe in another spin-off show.

At the beginning of season 2, VICTOR decided to come out to his family, however it didn’t go as well as it could. The majority of the season was spent with Victor’s dad attending PFLAG (standing for Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) to better understand his son.

Whereas Isabel, Victor’s mother, really struggled to come to terms with his sexuality. There were many arguments and avoidances, before Isabel accepted her son at the end of season 2, to the point where she tried to save Victor’s relationship with Benji. Things seem to be looking up for their relationship.

At the beginning of the school year, with everyone knowing about Victor and Mia’s breakup, rumors started to spread that their separation was due to her unloyalty. With all the negativity flying around, and Victor finally wanting to be himself at school, he announces he’s gay to the entire school and that’s the real reason why he and Mia broke up, before walking off hand in hand with Benji.

However, things get difficult when his basketball team starts to feel uncomfortable with him in the changing room. Victor confides in Andrew, the team captain, and they work on fixing the team's morale and feelings. It was a huge step forward and it'll be interesting to see if this plays a part in season 3.

With the separation between Isabel and Armando at the end of season 1, Victor’s dad makes the decision to move out of the house and find his own place. Things start off a bit tricky with Adrian, Victor’s brother, not liking two homes. But Armando tries to make his place feel just as much like a home.

Alongside moving out, Armando starts showing interest in a woman from PFLAG, and the two go on a couple of dates. So when Victor and Isabel find out, it’s clear they’re upset that he seems to be moving on. But that doesn’t last long, as in the last episode, Armando finds himself back at Isabel’s doorstep with a token of apology. Will they be back together officially or was this a one-off?

Last season, Felix’s family life was a focal point. It’s revealed that Felix’s mom, Dawn, has bipolar disorder, and is currently having a manic episode that has caused her to lose her job. So Felix stepped up to earn money and pay the bills. It’s not as easy for him, and so he confides in Pilar who lends him some cash and supports him throughout.

Later in the season, Dawn gets admitted into a psychiatric hold, and Felix is left to stay at Victor’s place for a while. He struggles with the fear that his mom will be taken away from him permanently. But at the end of the season, Dawn is released back home and both mother and son share an emotional embrace. Their relationship could be a key part of season 3.

When Felix opens up to Lake about his situation and home, and she sees for herself, she is quick to tell her mom about it. Lake wants to do what is best for Felix and suggests a great psychiatrist that her mother knows. However, upon discovering that Lake had shared his secret with her mother, Felix becomes upset.

This develops further when Lake’s mom reports Dawn into a psychiatric hold, without letting Felix know, and his trust is broken. Instead of Lake giving him the space he needs to think things over, she plans a big romantic gesture at the aquarium and that’s where Felix ends things with her. He doesn't believe he can be happy with her anymore after all that has happened. Lake was hurt but has apparently moved on into a new relationship with a girl.

Throughout the season, Felix found himself turning to Pilar for comfort regarding his home situation, as she was the first to find out about his struggles. During their time spent together, Pilar and Felix become a great duo, and so Pilar realizes she has feelings for Felix.

After Felix’s break up, Pilar makes a move and kisses him. Things don’t go entirely to plan as Felix is in shock and doesn’t know how to react. But in the last episode of the season, when Pilar tells Felix that she can’t just stay friends with him, Felix admits he doesn’t want to be friends either, before leaning in for a kiss.

With Mia finding out that her dad and Veronica were engaged and pregnant at the end of season 1, there was plenty of drama carried into season 2. Mia learns to get along with Veronica, as they gossip about Andrew together and she lends her mom’s old necklace as the “something old” at the wedding.

It's at the wedding where everything comes crashing down for Mia. Her dad tells her that he’s decided to take the job in Stanford, meaning they’ll have to move. Of course, Mia doesn’t take this lightly, and at the end of the season she decides to reach out to her mom, and Andrew and her drive away to find her. Fans are desperately waiting to see what happens with her mom.

Like Victor reached out to Simon in season 1, Rahim reached out to Victor in season 2. Rahim wants advice on coming out to his heavily Muslim, Iranian parents. After talking with Victor and staying over for dinner, he wishes that his family would be supportive as they are of Victor. Isa tells him that his parents will love him no matter what.

From then on, Rahim and Victor start to hang out more, with Rahim giving him relationship advice, to Victor inviting him as his plus one to the wedding. Rahim develops feelings toward Victor but can't do anything about it. But once Victor and Benji have broken up, Rahim admits he has feelings for Victor and the two share a kiss.

Things begin to get rocky between Benji and Victor once the school year starts. First Benji has a problem with Victor’s basketball games but is later resolved when he joins the cheerleader's dance to show support. Victor and Benji then have an argument about Benji’s hidden sobriety.

It develops into a further argument where Benji reveals he’s tired of dealing with Victor’s new experiences as a gay man. This obviously leaves Victor hurt as he thought he could be honest with Benji. Benji and Victor have another argument after Isabel walks in on them. Rahim gives Victor some advice to fix things. But when Benji finds out Victor told Rahim about his sobriety, he gets upset and tells Victor he needs a break, as he can’t trust him anymore.

In the last episode of the show, Victor feels conflicted about what to do. He is hesitant about picking between Benji and Rahim, as he can’t ignore the feelings he felt during his kiss with Rahim. Felix gives him advice to close his eyes and picture who he can see himself being with in the future, which leads to his decision

In the final minutes of season 2, Victor gets a call from Simon, apologizing for not being around. Victor thanks him for all his help, but he’s finally ready to do the next step without him. And so he steps up to a door and knocks. Unsure on whose house it is, fans will find out who Victor chose in season 3.
