Warning: The article contain spoilers for The Boys season 3.

The Boys has finally dropped the anticipated "Herogasm" episode, and reactions to it have been wilder than expected. The episode's final moments showed Homelander finally met his formidable match with Soldier Boy, Billy Butcher, and Hughie working together to take him down. Though Homelander may have narrowly escaped death, it is only the beginning of what could be his eventual downfall.

The latest season may hint at Homelander's potential defeat, but it is a fate he deserves since he is one of the evilest and most vicious "superheroes" ever seen. Since the premise of Homelander as a character stems from the idea of an evil Superman, fans have seen Homelander use his extraordinary powers and abuse his image as a hero in many merciless ways throughout the show's three-season run, and Ranker listed these irredeemable, evil acts.

Note: Ranker lists are live and continue to accrue votes, so some rankings may have changed after this publishing.

10 His Mission Overseas

Homelander showed that Supes could provide a great help to the military by completing a military mission all by himself. However, he did this by slicing dozens of foreign hostiles in half with his laser beams without even a second thought.

This impressive showing of power from Homelander demonstrated that he could be a one-man army but the way he handled the situation without any moral decency spoke to the innate evil of the character and his no mercy attitude.

9 Killing Madelyn

The Boys showed that it didn't need a huge superhero boss fight in order to have climactic and thrilling moments. The final episode of The Boys season 1 perfectly demonstrated this as Homelander ended his relationship with Madelyn and killed her by shooting his laser beams directly into her eyes.

Aside from the ruthlessness of this murder, Homelander cut one of his last remaining ties with humanity and showed fans how terrifying a disturbing version of the character could be. This act terrified audiences as Homelander kept shooting his lasers at Madelyn well past her time of death which was cruel and gory in every way imaginable.

8 Spying On Madelyn

It's very safe to say Homelander had an obsession with Vought's vice president Madelyn Stillwell and him constantly using his x-ray vision to spy on her is one of Homelander's more messed up moments.

As he stares at her through a picture of himself, it shows the audience the character's true loneliness, and his desire for affection has taken such a hold over him that he would strip someone away of their privacy. This act is not only completely immoral but also a testament to Homelander's brokenness as a character.

7 Disturbing Moments With Madelyn

As if Homelander and Madelyn Stillwell's relationship wasn't already complicated and unsettling enough, the moment they share midway through season 1 where she cradles him like a baby and then sticks her fingers in his mouth is something fans will never forget.

Aside from the sheer feeling of discomfort, fans feel an innate sense of evil from this moment as Homelander - a character associated with brutal force and vicious acts of violence - displays such a pitiful display of subjugation. No innocent people were hurt in this immoral act, but the way it unsettled audiences set this apart from other evil Homelander deeds.

6 Throwing His Kid Off A Roof

In a scene that closely resembled how a parent would give their child a small push to learn how to ride a bike, Homelander put his own cruel spin on this parenting trope when he pushed his son, Ryan, off a roof in hopes that he would learn how to fly.

As Ryan was begging for his father not to make him jump, the fact that Homelander would go against his son's wishes and put his life in jeopardy showed that even when he's not viciously murdering others, Homelander's selfish and cruel nature puts everyone around him at risk.

5 Destroying The Plane With The Mayor

Any hope fans had that Homelander was any better than the other dark and selfish heroes in The Boys was gone by the first episode. Homelander took down the plane flying the mayor of Baltimore after he brought up Compound V in a business deal with Madelyn.

This was one of Homelander's earliest and most iconic, evil act in The Boys. Having the mayor's son look out the window at Homelander as a beacon of hope only to see his glowing red eyes showed that Homelander is just as evil as they come and would kill anyone he deemed a threat to his reputation.

4 Revealing Maeve's Sexuality On Live TV

Although Homelander is a huge physical threat, he often uses his social status and public image as a way to manipulate and control others. This couldn't apply more to when he announced on national television that Maeve was dating a Hispanic woman as a way to combat the claims that Vought isn't diverse.

As Maeve wasn't comfortable with the public knowing her private relationship, the fact that Homelander went to such personal lengths to help out his own self-image is truly despicable and showed that Homelander can show his evil nature in more ways than one.

3 Injuring Blindspot

Homelander bashes Blindpsot's ears

When looking for a replacement for Deep in The Seven, Ashley introduces Homelander to a Daredevil-Esque hero called Blindspot who uses his super-hearing to be an effective combatant. Much to the shock of viewers, Homelander seems to admire and respect the hero at first, but then lives up to his reputation when he bashes in the ears of Blindspot.

While this unexpected savage moment may have garnished a few chuckles from some fans, Homelander showed his absolute merciless nature as not even an individual with a disability could escape his wrath.

2 Threatening To Kill Everyone On A Falling Plane

In a season 1 moment that is still being brought up in the show today, Homelander and Queen Maeve go to save passengers on a hijacked flight. Unfortunately, they chose to abandon the passengers after Homelander causes the plane to malfunction after using his laser blast to kill the hijackers.

What makes this one of Homelander's most evil moments is that instead of trying to save the innocent, he instead threatens to kill them as they beg him to save them from impending death. Homelander showed the audience that he is the exact opposite of a hero and would go out of his way to whatever lengths possible to protect his public image.

1 Drinking Madelyn's Milk

While no one was actually hurt by this act (besides a massive cringe from the audience), Homelander drinking Madelyn's breast milk has stood out amongst all of his other twisted actions as being one of the messed-up moments in the entire show.

If this act wasn't already bad enough, the fact that he snuck into Madelyn's office and decided to heat up the bottle before drinking it elevates this act above the rest as it showed how Homelander's unsetting nature could cause him to be totally unpredictable.
